VBF Judokas Clinch 5 Medals, Including 4 Golds, at National Cadet Judo Championships 2026
Chandigarh, 15 June 2026: Judokas from the Vijayi Bharat Foundation (VBF) delivered a stellar performance at the recently concluded National Cadet Judo Championships 2026 in Chandigarh, winning five medals — four gold and one bronze.
Divya Sarvaiya (-44kg), Divya Makwana (-48kg), and Khushbu Darjada (-63kg) won gold for Gujarat, while Disha (-52kg) secured gold for Haryana and Ashwin Bhardwaj (-81kg) claimed bronze for Rajasthan.
The dominant results at the National Cadet Championships underline VBF’s commitment to developing India’s next generation of judo champions. All five medallists train at VBF’s High-Performance Centre in Ahmedabad.
With these medals, the five judokas have also qualified for the Cadet Asian and World Judo Championships 2026, which will be held later this year.
