VBF Judokas Win Two Medals at the Cadet Asian Judo Championships 2026

While Divya Makwana won bronze in the Women’s -48kg category, Khushbu Darjada won bronze in the Women’s -63kg category. Both judokas are from Gujarat and had also dominated the National Cadet Championships held in Chandigarh last month.

A total of four judokas from VBF represented India at the continental event, which kicked off on 16 July 2026 and concluded on 17 July 2026 in Amman, Jordan. Besides Divya and Khushbu, judoka Disha placed 5th in the -52kg category, while Divya Sarvaiya placed 5th in the -44kg category.

The four judokas’ performance at the event underlines VBF’s commitment to developing India’s next generation of judo champions as we continue to train and mentor them at VBF’s High-Performance Centre in Ahmedabad.
