Vijayi Bharat Foundation hosts the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games' King's Baton Relay Unveiling in Ahmedabad

In a vibrant ceremony held on Saturday, King’s Baton Relay for the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games (CWG) was unveiled at Sanskardham Campus under the aegis of Vijayi Bharat Foundation (VBF), marking a significant step in the lead up to the event scheduled for next year.
The spectacular event was attended by several dignitaries including Gagan Narang Bronze Medalist (2012 London Olympics & Vice President IOA), Durgesh Agarwal (Director – VBF), Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG) officers, staff of Vijayi Bharat Foundation and academy athletes.
The event served as a reaffirmation of VBF’s active contribution in India’s sporting ecosystem. During the event, the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games’ preparations received enthusiastic support from VBF. The event saw participation from athletes with great fervour. Ahmedabad is set to host the 2030 edition of the Commonwealth Games.
